The newest Club Hawthorne off-track betting bar, relocated to Jefferson Avenue, featuring 120 TVs, a 40' horseshoe bar, booth and table seating, and private rooms. A warehouse sports bar with a simple throwback menu (get the spicy chili!).

Pretty good place to bet the horses. Need more help though. Bartender was doing everything.

We come here once a year for the Kentucky Derby. On this day, which I believe to be one of the busiest days of the year, the place was completely crowded. If you didn't get there early you will NOT get a seat. You won't even be able to find a place to stand right before the race. Cool thing is they do a drive thru for betting so you don't have to go indoors and deal with the crowds if you don't wish too. People taking the bets we're very nice. The bartending was fairly quick as well granted all the people that were there.
Great place. Plenty of TVs and tons of races both domestic and international. Staff is friendly and quick. Excellent bar type food at a low cost including daily beer and food specials. Tellers are knowledgable + they have machines if you'd rather bet that way. I highly recommend this place whether you're betting or not.Update: They added 6 slot machines a few months ago and there are always at least 2-3 machines open.
Pretty nice place if your a horse racer !! Food is good too !! Yes they have a deli / grill . You can rent out a backroom there as well for parties or whatever , and of course they serve booze so it's a win win ! All the managers are very attentive and helpful and fun !!
I liked it, nice clean facility. Nice big bar area, the grill was clean and the lady cook was very nice, i asked for my amburger in a special way and she accommodated me. My oakbrook OTB is my favorite, been going there for years, but nice to try someplace different. Hawthorne club is a great get away to relax and have fun.
