#2 BLACK WHITE N GOLD turned in a BTL effort back in August. That race was contested over an off-track and that might have moved him up to some extent, though he is capable over fast as well. He will return from the 9/25 common race when passively ridden by Prescott (returning today) stalking a moderate pace with minimal change in running order and has more than that running line and finishing position suggests.

#3 KATTATH showed run in a less than ideal ride/TACTIC- on 9/14 and should move up off that effort to compete back at the level and in with today's group.

#8 HUNTSVILLE returns with the barn change and positive class change to the maiden claiming level. Going back to the Oaklawn season, visually he looked to need the DROP in class from Special Weight and finds that here. Intent looks in play with the change, steady work tab and live rider in Gaffalione taking the call.
#7 AMEREASE will make his debut here for Gorder, a barn that can pop with a FTS and one that holds a local work tab.

This is a competitive, full field of lightly raced runners where many can step up in this spot. #3 TWO PRACTICAL could come into this race with confidence on the circuit switch and off a sneaky BTL debut last month at CBY where she was really the only runner to make up ground.

#2 MAGICAL LUTE should offer value in this race overlooked off the recent running lines and finishing positions. She should be sitting on a peak effort in this third start of the form cycle and exiting the CD meet for the COLD Wilkes barn that has already started to turn things around here at Keeneland. The pace of the race is also key for her as one that has the tendency to break slow and make one run. The pace should be contentious given the complexion of the field for her to make that late run.

#8 BE MISS HATTIE has not had a chance to race on the dirt but arguably she has also not had the opportunity to run her race. She debuted in a tough spot going two turns first out as the only FTS in the Ellis Park field. Following that race she drew the extremes with the outside post in an extreme race shape at KD following up with a sneaky trouble trip from the rail last month at CD.
