#8 MUNCLE returns from a BTL debut last month and back under similar conditions to compete. On debut he broke SLOG and made a MOVE improving position in a race without much change in running order and continued to run on after the wire.

#3 NON FUNGIBLE will find some changes today and appears the right moves for this one. He was overmatched at the MSW level and also struggled over the dirt. He was scheduled to run under similar conditions on 12/8 and perhaps they wanted to wait for this race to run on Lasix.

#6 ENGLISH CHALLENGE could get dismissed and another with upside in the second start of the cycle and with buried form over this course and starter condition from prior seasons. #9 NICHOLAS JONES wheels right back under similar conditions in this second start off the layoff. Going back to the 12/16 event, he was the second choice despite giving up recency and lost his race from the start stumbling at the TROUBLE_S with the top two finishers forwardly placed. One of those returns here in #10 GUN RUSH a horse that has held his form and has been well managed and his record is a result. He does find a post position change and also coming right back off the layoff as factors to weight at the shorter expected number.

#5 MERLIN'S SONG holds a win over this course and claiming level for Foster going back to last season. The barn reclaimed this runner back in October and appeared intent for this meet. He was cold on the board showing up last month and raced evenly in a race with minimal change in running order. #12 BOISE has back number to make him a player and upgraded from the 12/8 race with TROUBLE_S making a RUSH early and given a subtle flow upgrade with the race shape slowing late.
