Willing to take on #4 MAN O ROSE as the expected favorite in this spot. He should find pace pressure and while he has the strong of recent "1" all earned with favorable/PERFECT trips. 

Part of the early pace pressure should come from #5 UNCONQUERABLE KEEN and the contentious pace assists his stablemate #3 BEER CAN MAN one that could come down from the ML especially with J. Hernandez, though a solid fit in this race and returning to this circuit for the live connections. 

Trip/pace is also key for #6 DANIEL'S MAGIC though one that is not out of it and can get a share at the least. 

#4 FIRE BAN earned a follow off the debut. She made a positive PRERACE+ appearance and after the SLOG made a WIDE MOVE into a Very Slow early pace to earn place behind the open length pacesetting winner, Bolt D'Vine. The race has so far just had one runner to return, that filly Desert Rhapsody returned to break her maiden by open lengths in MSW company at the 8f distance in June at SA. 

#1PURE MADNESS has a look in here to pair wins in just a second start, though does still require price compensation. The ML looks a bit short, borderline fair odds at 7-2 though a scenario they could drift given the complexion of this field and players hesitant with the rail draw and V. Espinoza aboard - two factors that are less of a real concern especially when given an overlay. 

#10 SOPHISTICATE earned a follow on debut after missing the break (VSLOG) made a strong CLOSE and GALLOP+ and should appreciate the start and STRETCH out in distance. In addition, the barn is trending in the right direction; since the start of the DMR meet J. Shirreffs has sent out live runners. 

#7 LOVE ALIVE could sneaky away on the board and one that projected to IMPROVE off a TROUBLE trip on debut and has shown progression number wise since. and numbers that sit in line with others in this field including #4 UPCHARGE on that turned in a B OptixGRADE and BTL on debut and reunites with M. Smith the rider assigned on the day. 

#2 HELGA BRANDT appears live on debut and off the visuals suited to today's surface/distance with a level of class that should see her race ready first out. She also, given the ML assignment likely to have some buzz and gather public attention. 

#9 SWERVIN MERVYN earned a follow from a productive higher MCL event back on 6/15 showing up last month. He earned a further follow and projected IMPROVE off the sneaky trip and should value here with the recent finishing positions. 

There are knocks on the two ML favorites as #4 SALVATOR MUNDI finds a change in par, higher and dynamic than the conditions of the win last out; and #8 BACHELOR PAD cutting back in distance from the outside where they could get caught WIDE (again) looking for the lead and find others looking for that same trip.

#3 JAMIESTA had turned in a B OptixGRADE under similar conditions and figures on par. The distance change back to ONE_TURN could present a further positive and number hold given the recent running lines and finishing positions. 

#9 MASTER SPY could be a reach to win, though a longshot with a look to give a mention especially projected to sit as one of the longer priced runners in this field. The race to key off of is the 4/28 effort, a race that earned a figure on par and showed run making a MOVE and overall visuals that also projected IMPROVE.
