#4 ROYAL COACH is upgraded in this second start of the meet - they find a lateral change in class drop the 12/19 race though a massive X_FLOW upgrade. A. Concepcion will take over today and looking for the second win in as many mounts for the barn picking up the win aboard Gentle Soul earlier this week.
#6 AMBRIDGE finds the change in class dropping in for the claiming tag and should move up naturally with that move. The connections wheel right back following a TROUBLE trip 19-days ago and return to the main track, less of a concern for a versatile type that recorded a figure on par with the recent turf form keying off KEE the debut and in line with ML favorite, #7 LOVE PACK.

Looking at today's Plot and comparing with the Race Plot History - a longshot case can be made for #3 BULLET BLUES in today's scenario. In addition to today's race shape their form is clear lacking "red" in the Past 3 Runlines, a BTL effort back on 10/13 earning a B- OptixGRADE and similar B- OptixGRADE at this level course, and distance despite the 5th place outcome on 12/13.

This is a playable race if the ML sticks with #5 AIR COMBAT as the race favorite, a horse that lands an edge in this spot all around. The longer distance, surface and barn that has a record of coming up short with these type of runners historically - albeit a smaller sample.
#4 NOTAH figures a logical alternative. They find a reasonable class DROP with some upside on the freshening for the connections. They were effective in claiming company picking up the win to start out 2024 and protected the remained of the season scoring a win in starter allowance company at SAR and upgraded (X_FLOW) from the 10/4 KEE race.
