#7 NADETTE fits this race off current form and the lone stateside graded stakes winner in this field. Drysdale used a similar second off pattern into this event last year and turned in a B/BTL effort with adversity playing a role in the 4th place result.
#10 LAULNE is a Group 3 winner going back to the 2023 juvenile season a level of class to prompt the connections to take a swing in the BC Juvenile Turf (G1) closing out the 2023 campaign. The visuals from that G1 event suggested class weakness (DROP) and the need for ONE_TURN/SHORTER the projections for the Angel Flight win last April. Some upside can be projected and is required to step up while looking to get back on track and improve off the juvenile/sophomore figures required to compete here.
