Emily's Analysis
Keeneland Race 1
Post Time 12:00 PM CST
If the public does not sniff it out the teams likely will as #1 MANAGE XPECTATIONS lacks any strong edge to be heavily favored and even money in this field.
#6 WILD ACCLAIM can be upgraded (especially with front wrap removal) second off the layoff and returning from the 9/6 race with adversity. Their trip started rough (TROUBLES+) getting bounced around at the break and racing tight between horses (TRAFFIC TROUBLE) certainly playing some role in outcome even if a full excuse could not reasonably be given.
Keeneland Race 7
Post Time 3:12 PM CST
Utilizing OptixGRADES to key off the B+ runners as they take the rise in class:
#4 SISTER TROIENNE projected to move up with the STRETCH in distance and some reaction to the ELP main track. They showed class (B+) overcoming the SLOG TROUBLE_S lunging out of the gate.
#10 SCREEN TEST takes the rise in circuit though certainly deserving of the chance to show where she fits. She had significant adversity TROUBLE_S & TROUBLE+ with multiple ways to lose the 9/19 MSW event at LRL and showed a ton of run (BURST CLOSE GALLOP+) to clear by open lengths.
#9 WAR MADAM also earning a B+ OptixGRADE for their debut win last month at CNL. They will not only take the rise in against winners but also moving to open company. #6 NICKLE SAVER has the edge coming out of the open company CNL MSW win last month and while recording a B, did so with adversity and MOVE into a Slow early pace from off the pace after the TROUBLE_S and early SHUFFLE.
