Emily's Analysis

Woodbine Race 1

Post Time 3:30 PM CST
Analysis by Emily Gullikson

#6 MR. PERFECT is no creative pick, in fact is likely going to be too short to play though the right horse to go off as the favorite. Their overall races with consistent figures at the higher level present the "perfect" spot to clear the maiden conditions.

Woodbine Race 2

Post Time 4:02 PM CST
Analysis by Emily Gullikson

The Fire/44 SpeedRate creating a bunched up Q1 including the ML first and second choices on the ML (#2 GINGER'S HOLIDAY & #3 LIVININTHEFASTLANE) to set up the trip for #6 ASHUKA to stalk tracking a Q2 Square. ASHUKA has their share of issues (mostly from the gate, mostly) to consider and wait for the right number especially given their race record.

Woodbine Race 3

Post Time 4:34 PM CST
Analysis by Emily Gullikson

Taking a swing with #6 CHUNKY MONKEY in this race. As far as "value" they show up on the Plot (ABOVE) in a nearly identical position/shape to #3 ANOTHER CHARLIE one that could be favored in here and a logical horse to make the case for. In terms of CHUNKY MONKEY they bring in current form though need that to put forward a top effort from the races this season and since coming off the layoff as the 2025 figures sit on the lower end to win. As far as that current form, they lack "red" in the OptixNOTES as a positive; and in terms of those trips upgraded stayed on as the BOS X_FLOW through a Very Fast early/late pace on 10/31 and had that race split with the two shorter 5.5f sprints to suggest if there is a top effort this is the time, place and distance to show it.

Woodbine Race 5

Post Time 5:35 PM CST
Analysis by Emily Gullikson

#4 LOST STAR could get lost on the board while they find a reasonable spot to compete. That is a big change from most of their career even the races this season and since breaking their maiden dominantly (B+) for $15k back in June. In terms of the recent races on the Tapeta, they had a legitimate EX on 10/26 showing run at all the wrong times along with TROUBLE X_FLOW. They projecting to IMPROVE though perhaps the timing not ideal wheeling back in 19-days along with the WIDE trip on 11/14 while also lacking pace to chase with the Snowflake/30 SpeedRate as a Q4 Circle and now shifts to Q4 Square with the change in dynamic to Sun/60.

#5 COMPTON holds competitive races under similar N2 conditions and back with Hernandez from a TROUBLE trip while racing in the WEATHER (high winds) and SLOG on 11/19.

Woodbine Race 8

Post Time 7:05 PM CST
Analysis by Emily Gullikson

As an individual #5 MAMBA ON THREE fits though in terms of form cycle/timing they wheeling back (14 days) off a HARD effort to present slightly vulnerable especially when paired with other E/EP runstyle horses playing a role in this Sun/50 dynamic.

Looking for just off the pace tracking trip #3 AWESOME CRUSADER also back from that same 11/21 common race dealing with significant TROUBLE+ that impacted their outcome.

#2 HARPER CITY also had a degree of TROUBLE in the opening 1/4 and could look to be more forward today, similar to the 10/17 RUSH BOS trip.

#4 BANKER'S HOURS finds a different path into this race with the 34 day break and another that needs a more assertive ride for their best and at this shorter 5.5f distance. Trip is also crucial for #6 RYE'S MY GUY though overall following their form cycle pattern project improvement from the WIDE trip C effort back on 11/7.
