Emily's Analysis
Ellis Park Race 8
Post Time 5:12 PM CST
#8 TAMINO looks the part of a TURF runner and returning to that surface for the first time since early 2025 starting out their career at SA. Both place finishes on the turf stack up consistently speed figure wise with their recent numbers to suggest they can translate here. Class wise this is a slight ruse though in terms of par is closer to a lateral move and with every career speed figures in today's contender range.
Ellis Park Race 9
Post Time 5:42 PM CST
The 6/19 common race was a BLANKET finish at the wire including in the money finishers #7 CROSSFIRE and #12 TRIM CASTLE but overall #2 SEE YOU SOON recording a B OptixGRADE despite their 5th place outcome giving them the edge over those other two B- runners with a better race result on that day. #11 KING CRUSHER also recorded a B- OptixGRADE to hold value coming their 7th place finish impacted by the TROUBLES+ losing their footing a stumbling a few strides out of the gate.
Woodbine Race 2
Post Time 3:32 PM CST
Granted #3 PAGEANT QUEEN was in against 3yo age restricted company, she was dominant/B+ under similar OC40 conditions coming off the layoff on 4/25. Today's par is closer to a lateral move and as the projected 4th betting choice in this group becomes very playable.
Woodbine Race 6
Post Time 5:44 PM CST
#8 TALENT SHOW is the horse to beat returning from a B OptixGRADE at the level on 6/21 through a compromised TACTIC- and TROUBLE trip; #4 BELLA CLASSICA has a longshot look eligible for this condition with the placement and claim, in the most recent 6/25 start. Trip wise, there should be honest pace (Fire) and when she has been closer to the lead it was through Slow early race shapes. They could fall back with the change in dynamic and set up a late move.
Woodbine Race 7
Post Time 6:17 PM CST
Tough to see this race bet as the ML suggests.. #5 LA CULASSE has shown progression with each start this season and number wise climbing forward still yet to hit the numbers recorded as a juvenile and reasonable to suggest this could be their time; #6 BIT OF MUSIC has struggled through the layoffs since the debut though with each race since that first out win, has shown run in spots, perhaps tougher to see with the running lines and finishing positions. In addition, those efforts with a higher race par than she finds today. Going back to the earlier races, a STRETCH was Projected and only finding the two turn distance in the 6/6 return - a potential PREP and notable GALLOP+ on the day.
