Emily's Analysis

Saratoga Race 8

#4 EXHIBITION ONLY should be sitting on an improved effort, freshened for this race while returning to the dirt. They have shown run at times, though not the ideal placement in their career. That could include the most recent start, returning to NYRA and the turf, racing in the rain, making a RUSH to set the pace with the race slowing late, a subtle flow upgrade (slightly productive for horses forwardly placed out of that event going forward) while also cold on the board for a colder barn at the time.

#2 CRUMLIN FASHION moves up significantly on the class DROP and solidly the horse to beat. The return on 6/6 had some "excuse" with the rail SLOG and in running TROUBLE to rebound and return to any of the 2025 efforts well within today's par. #4 TOO MANY AMYS showed run after the TROUBLE_S on debut and took wagering support in the recent second start with the and change in class - a competitive B- effort given the TACTIC- TROUBLE_S making a RUSH getting SHUFFLE and still put in a late CLOSE.

#3 SIGHT TO SEE has a look based on their form this season and subtle changes. The 5/29 start showed a MOVE and GALLOP+ to project STRETCH and PREP -- coming back on 6/18 at the 7f distance made a positive PRERACE+ appearance then a TROUBLE_S and WIDE RUSH X_FLOW playing a role in outcome. Today's race par is lighter than what they have not only faced this season but arguably lowest in their career to move up on hidden class change.

#3 EMPTY GESTURE returns to WO and the turf for the first time this season. They hold 5f turf sprint numbers/class on par (ABOVE) and placed back at the $25k claiming level, the level where they picked up their most recent win.

#3 JINX ME upgraded all around as they find class relief and a lower par since breaking their maiden last year. Overall speed figures sit on par and recording co-highest figures in the field for the distance. They can be upgraded returning second off and from the 6/18 start with the WIDE trip finishing in a blanket for minors behind the pacesetting winner in a race which has produced two next out winners.
