#7 NIGHT EFFECT turned in a strong effort well meant in his April 1st debut at Oaklawn Park. He showed a solid level of class drawing the rail and the initial start around two turns staying on gamely as the BOS. His trip on May 6th was subtle and the main track changed as it was drying out and sped up in the later part of the card playing against the trip (and rider TACTIC-) for Night Effect. He has trained forwardly from that race and should offer value in this spot and off the recent running line.

#1 BRONKO NAGURSKI has dealt with adversity and trips since his debut and lands in the right spot to step up off the series of show finishes. Going back to his debut, he raced WIDE with a big GALLOP+ and visuals from his second start on the TURF to suggest he can handle added ground. Miyadi wheels right back in two weeks for this second start off the layoff, with the beneficial added ground and retaining a strong rider in Fresu.

#8 DERECHO DANDY could present some value in the finale keying off the 6-1 morning line. As far as his form this year he took a tough beat getting caught in a photo at this level in January and turned in a BTL effort in his return on May 7th.
