#1 SKIPPINJUSTICE finds some subtle class relief and a positive projected change in race shape to move her up in today's event. #7 TAPERINEA was taken out of her preferred RunStyle here at Hawthorne on July 27th and should move up returning to her natural stalking style as well as the return to statebred company. 

As far as assessing the runners with experience, #6 NONEOFYOURBUSINESS recorded a B OptixGRADE and BTL effort as one of the top three together in a BLANKET at the wire. Rival #3 SHIPSHEWANA also showed run in that same debut event with adversity given the TROUBLE_S, racing in TRAFFIC and lacking running ROOM. #7 LILMORECRAKEN broke SLOG on debut, something not uncommon for Wilkes FTS and given that PREP experience a move forward can be projected. 

With many first time starters in this field, it is always recommended to look at the horses in the paddock and on the track. Brad Cox will send out a pair and appears #9 FINN AND BRENNAN is the preferred of the Lapenta runners and could be favored. #4 STELLAR VINO could be overlooked and looks suited to today's conditions and even intent with De La Cruz aboard, a rider over the years has been live for Cox on this circuit. 

Longshot #1 TAP THE LINE is not far out of it and could even see intent in this race. She is on an every other pattern that comes with the turf to dirt move. As far as class, she will remain at the statebred allowance level. She had been racing in the claiming events on the dirt, though this spot is taken as a lateral move with those races in KY run under similar OFR and $31k purse structure. 

#3 BEDUIN FIGHTER might not end up at the morning line as projected going out for a live barn and with form over this course as they return here from the layoff. #2 TRIPLE ELVIS carries more upside and value in this race after he earned the same C+ OptixGRADE as #5 NEVER HAVE I EVER on July 21st. 

Morning line favorite, #7 SPYCRAFT is logical in that role as returns to this circuit and presents upside for the connections in the second start of the current cycle. Trip is key for #6 TRIPULANTE with the deep closing RunStyle though should have pace to run at late and will be picking up the pieces. 

#8 MICKI VALENTINE has the edge of the runners exiting the common race on July 21st. #1 BEST CUPCAKE is the new face of the second time starters and seems well-intended for this race returning from the layoff and making the transition to statebred from the open MSW earlier this season. As far as #7 GOSPEL MUSIC a pricey IN-bred yearling making her belated debut here should be as ready as she will ever be for the connections that should find plenty of public attention here. 

#8 BRUSTER JUSTICE is tough to knock as the favorite and as an individual is the horse to beat. The drop off a win comes with some concern though after finally picking up the allowance win and peak 10-days ago they could be trying to take advantage of his current form and squeeze out one more win before recovery time and that weighed with the likely claim here. 

Many others also will find the class drop and a more reasonable drop for that group. #1 WHERE'S MOE should move up with the class change as well as #6 KINGOFTHERAINBOW back to a claiming level where he has been competitive in the past - his stablemate #5 CIELO BLU could be left with too much to do on the win end with the shorter distance and deep closing RunStyle.

#2 BROOKVILLE STORM is the biggest wild card in this race. She will return in this spot where she will race for the tag and also run against males here. She has run well off a similar layoff in the past, has shown legit early speed and has numbers that make her competitive. 

#7 AMAZING JUSTICE ran a big race to overcome a poor start to finish second on August 2nd, though had to work HARD for that outcome and could be short coming back in just 17-days. The change in class and race dynamic should benefit #2 DOUBLEDOGJUSTICE finding him in the right spot to compete today.
