This is a competitive event where a case can be made for just about every runner in this field. #4 PLANETARIO looked legit over this course in the Del Mar Handicap (G2) though did not fire his best that day and might have needed the time off he returns from here. #3 LUKKA is a new face and looks to have intent with Drysdale picking this spot for his local. Looking at the work tab and him on the track training, he comes into this race fit and should give an honest account. Depending on the tactics from Smith on #5 ASTRONAUT, a runner that has RunStyle versatility, taking off the pace could allow a "lone" scenario for #6 BALLADEER, the trip (and track BIAS) that carried him to the John Henry (G2) win.
