#1 PLAY MY SPEED came out with an EX - EXCUSE on debut given significant TROUBLE. She improved with her second start making a MOVE after the SLOG back in June. There is some concern with the gate issues from the rail and the track profile, though could present value dismissed by the public despite each start showing run, shows her off the board. 

#2 SUPER ENTICING presents as a TURF runner and will make a belated return to the grass. She debuted over the turf in her second start at DMR last summer though compromised by the outside post WIDE trip and higher MSW class level. That race was also her first start around two turns and the other route race closed out 2023 with the layoff that followed a complete EX - EXCUSE in November. 

#2 RUNNING SUPER caught a productive debut race back in June and makes some changes looking to continue that key race pattern here. In terms of trip, nothing was ideal from the TACTIC- to the TROUBLE_S RUSH into TRAFFIC and did not have her best chance all things considered. Tough to discuss the 6/15 race without #3 AUDITORY also returning from that event with the outside post and subsequent WIDE trip that followed. 

#2 TIERGARTEN wheels right back from a less than ideal trip two weeks ago and the shift in post and rider change could suggest intent. As far as class today is technically a step up though catches a softer race par today. #4 SONG OF FIRE returns giving up recency though could be intent with the rise in class on return. She will be requires to be "race ready" though her runstyle fits today's race shape and appears further intent with A. Ayuso back aboard, a ruder that has had success in the saddle back in her career. 

#10 SMILING BEAST earned a follow off their strong B+ debut back in May and suggests they can step up in class to take on winners, the task at hand today. In terms of trip, on debut he broke SLOG had TROUBLE_S which had her off the pace before making a WIDE MOVE. That type of trip from "off the pace" has been tough at times over this course though perhaps can come out clean at the start given this is just their second career outing. 

This is not the spot I expected #2 THE GYPSY COWBOY to show up in for their second start though they earned a follow from the debut in the first part of the meet. On the day, they broke SLOG raced WIDE in hand early against (X_BIAS) the profile showing a solid GALLOP+ and should handle added (STRETCH) ground and can IMPROVE off the initial start. 

#2 MEGA MOON could be overlooked given the recent running line an finishing position. He has run well over the DMR turf including an open length win over this course breaking their maiden with A. Fresu, today's returning rider in the saddle. Class and trip fits #1 EXPLAIN THE AUDIT coming right back in their second start of the meet/form cycle with subtle change in class and projected change in race shape.
