Try to get creative with #1 SWEET VENGEANCE off the visuals and TROUBLE trip that can see her IMPROVE second off an encouraging they wheel back for this race to remain protected. #3 NANCI GRIFFITH will make a belated TURF debut, a surface the connections have tried to get her a race over and certainly makes sense to match her physicality.

That is not to knock, #2 CAMERON SLOUGH one that made a strong CLOSE at this level (and higher par) earlier this month and should find a similar trip albeit at shorter odds here. 

#9 GRAZEN GATOR projects to be favored and with good reason turning in a strong B BTL effort in her debut and strong figure in the process. The change in distance today is noted and the STRETCH out should benefit #4 CHILLY PHILLY and #12 MRAZEK'S OLD DREAM for their second start. 

#7 DORINE'S WILD CAT turned in a BTL effort making a MOVE X_FLOW back on 8/8 and a return to that effort puts her right back in the mix and in line with the figures from others in this field. 

The common race on 7/28 features two runners with #6 FLATTERWITHJEWELS the place finisher though raced with the profile, unlike #1 PERSUASIVE LIPS one that can be given an upgrade with the WIDE trip. While a turnaround is required the effort last month could have been compromised and the long layoff also noted on the day. 

While Baffert's expect to get a lot of attention in here #3 RICH OF JOY should not be ignored turned in a solid figure in her 6/15 debut (a productive race) and backing that up with a sneaky trip three weeks ago over the turf that could see her IMPROVE. #4 AFFAIR broke SLOG with TROUBLE on debut and closed out 2023 with an EX- EXCUSE on the opening day (12/26) of the SA season and makes a belated return .

#8 SOLID TUNE project to IMPROVE off the TROUBLE trip as they return here under similar conditions as the 8/1 event. Trip today will again be key especially with the 5.5f distance though she has been able to show early speed in the past and requires an assertive trip to compete and avoid a similar trip fate today. She might not be as quick as #3 CLASS CLOWN, the horse to beat off her current form and drop though there are some concerns with those changes and the blinkers added some desperation looking for the win today. 

#6 BIJOU BABY found a favorable trip over this course coming back off the layoff with the win in May. Following that race she was up against with the rise in class, higher par and WIDE trip in June and with the return to the turf in July showed run (TROUBLE_S, WIDE) and more so than the running line and finishing position suggests and can IMPROVE all around.
