#3 MULTIPLICATION presents upside in this second career start and showing up at CD where she trained prior to her debut. One of those works was a strong half mile move just 6 days out from the IND first start and has come out of the race seemingly well recording two works this month and R. Gutierrez sticking around. 

Connections could look to scoop the early double returning with #5 BOOK'EM one that won a common race that many in Race 1 exit going back to 9/26. Those MSW conditions allow them to race in this starter allowance something to note for other recent conditional MSW winners including #7 KENTUCKY SMOKESHOW with the local experience and #9 MASCARA one that could end up favored and will give up recency as she has been off nearly three months since the debut win at SAR. 

#4 COALMOON will make the surface switch though also finds the change in class exiting the higher level non-conditional MSW events in the recent start. Going back to their debut in restricted MOC company he turned in a BTL effort with a strong CLOSE something that was backed up with a similar CLOSE with the show finish at KYD and probably rushed back too soon for the races in the 10/4 maiden event playing a role in the effort and outcome. 

#5 REB also turned in a BTL effort in their MOC effort back in August at ELP. They can be upgraded given the WIDE trip compromised with the outside post on 9/18 and to their credit still turned in an honest B- OptixGRADE behind Optical, a dominant open length pacesetting winner. 

#9 MORAL recorded a B OptixGRADE under similar conditions to today's race back on 9/25 though catches a higher race par in today's event, something that does not move them out of contention though does require price compensation. 

#6 FLYING MOHAWK fits ABOVE in this race on Class and ABOVE+ on Speed/Plot compared to the other lightly raced runners in this field. They recorded a B OptixGRADE in MSW company at KYD and improved their figure once again in the Pilgrim (G2) last month at KEE. #16 CULTURE WAR debuted in the 9/1 common race and turned in a solid B- effort with a WIDE trip and kept up their fitness with the mile event three weeks ago and should hold intent with the addition of blinkers though might have to wait for another day. 

This is a competitive race and one to follow with this group of juvenile fillies: #1 GIRL MATH has improved race to race and a WIDE trip place behind a quality filly called Claire's Charm. #7 QUEEN JUBILEE also from that 9/22 common race was WIDE up close to a Fast early pace before NO_KEEP and should hold fitness returning here where improvement is not out of the question and should present longer odds than rival #4 CALIFORNIA SUNSET given the connections.

#2 LADY LIBERTY made a positive PRERACE+ appearance and ran to it noting a SAVED TRAFFIC trip and late CLOSE. The added ground should not be an issue and the STRETCH should be a further asset for #5 MCKINZIE'S GLORY as she makes her return here and the connections have been looking to stretch out around two turns noting a pair of scratches earlier this month and McPeek ultimately picking this spot. Hernandez lands there noting he had been named the three times #9 GOLDEN GAMBLE had previously been entered opening up the mount for J. Leparoux on a rider quest for a new milestone. 

Remains to be seen in #10 FIRST CLASS LADY is a big favorite once again after coming up short twice in that role. Her place finish on debut in defeat was upgraded with Quietside returning to finish second in the Spinaway (G1) after the 8/4 win though there was no real excuse for FIRST CLASS LADY on 9/13 other than the COLD barn at the time of the meet. That could suggest she can improve with the timing since and has been given more time to acclimate to CD where she returns today. 

#2 MURPHY GIRL could battle for the role of race favorite given her races and figures to date. With that said, she is also looking for a return to a top effort noting the decline on numbers and Grades since the May debut - something that should go the other direction for lightly raced younger runners. 

#8 DREAMINBLUE has shown legit gate speed and consistent works coming into this race with a live look for the connections. 

Intent could be in play for #3 JAC FOURTEEN making his debut here at CD where he has been stabled and training consistently since late August. Their works are not overly outstanding though nothing to knock. 

#1 WAYZATA presented turf and class in her gallop back at the March sale. She was training over the summer though a slight setback delaying the debut and shows up here where she could be a surprise for connections that are not "known" for turf runners though capable all the same. 

#11 JEWELED CITY turned in a B OptixGRADE on debut and the effort catching the eye of the public sent off as the favorite last month at KYD, a race they will look to recover and move forward from here. 

That 9/5 race, a common race and nearly won by #10 POEMA one that validated her debut (IMPROVE) at IND and stepped up with the class change something that must continue here. 

RAGS TO RICHES STAKES: 

#2 CLAIRE'S CHARM showed a lot of class in her debut and the connections had considered running in the Pocahontas (G3) as a maiden before the win last month to now take on winners and with the two turn experience. 

Value should hold on CLAIRE'S CHARM as L. Saez shifts and sticks with #6 GOOD CHEER one that also was entered in the Pocahontas (G3) before the dominant allowance win last month. While deserving of the class rise, she projects to be favored and steps up to a higher race par and competitive group today. #3 SHERBINI has the class edge exiting G1 events and has been holding her own though must improve on numbers and show where she fits going forward into the sophomore season. 

#5 MECHAYA was well-prepared and dominant breaking her maiden on debut. That gave her a look stepping up to take on winners last month in the Jessamine (G2) a race where she had legit TROUBLES+ and TROUBLE+ in running and still put forth a competitive B- OptixGRADE effort and will look for that form to transfer here to the main track. 

#7 ALYESKA also a debut winner and has the edge with that initial win over this course. She will be tested to stretch out and while there has been one next out winner from the 9/20 MSW event, like others will take a rise in par and company for this second start.
