Turfway Race 3
#3 ADD MORE LIPSTICK returns to the level of their debut, a debut earning B OptixGRADE finishing in a BLANKET, the top three together at the wire. Off that race, the connections stepped up just weeks later in the 12/26 $50k MCL condition not as effective though should hold fitness from that WIDE trip returning here just 20-days later.
Turfway Race 9
#3 SICKLE DANCE finds a lateral change in class to move up in this second start of the cycle returning from a B- with a subtle trip on 12/5. #7 HATTIE T could find a similar trip to compete with their runstyle making a return with potential upside in maturity as well. As they return from the layoff, the barn has had success with these type of layoff runners finding a peak effort off the bench.
Turfway Race 10
#1 COULD DO returns fresh and with the change in class to run today for the MCL tag. going back to October they finished well off the board, though a flow upgrade as part of the Very Fast early pace.
#2 TURNBUCKLE also a flow upgrade from the opposite side one that has a tendency to SLOG and make their late run. The DROP appears the right move overall and coming off a NO_PUSH less than two weeks ago were not asked for their best on the day.
#9 CONCRETE CRUISER should be in position to compete second off the claim and back to MCL company and from the 12/05 trip making a WIDE MOVE with IMPROVE potential.
