#7 QUANTUM INNERGY arguably is not the "most likely" winner though holds buried/current form to fit with today's group. In addition, they bring upside into this stakes race with added intent: second off, picking up M. Smith and with back class and speed figures that fit with this field along with their runstyle in today's race shape.

#3 DOLCE FORTUNA looks to pick up where she left off with the debut win last December - a mdn race that has held form. That race under a similar par and earning a speed figures that stacks up with the other established types in this field. She also holds tactical speed under an assertive rider R. Munger to fit today's race shape and key value alternative.

The finale should present a value opportunity as ML favorite #2 MAGICAL TRICK has come up short at this level of a winning/B effort and while consistent to stick around for minors lacks value as a strong win contender. Second ML choice #9 BRIGHT SUNSHINE is no value in that role and even as a contender in this race lacking any edge from class to speed to pace in this race to justify taking a shorter number.
#6 LEGS LIKE FLATTER could catch the right time and place in this second start back off the layoff. They were giving up a lot of recency following the EX closing out 2023 and subtle TACTIC_ trip in the return three week ago while some intent with the timing and back under similar conditions. The timing also noted second off with the subtle change in class for #5 PEGGY landing here.
The lack of recency is the hurdle for both #4 WHER'S SAMNBAILEY and #10 FIRECRACKER FIONA otherwise runners that fit with races on par and running style to suit today's race shape. #7 WORLD SHOWCASE also giving up recency and while consistent figures at the maiden class last year for solid connections, this will be a first start against winners and requires some price compensation, though preferred in this spot over #8 GAMBLE ON LOVE and #11 PRETTY GOOD JOKE also returning from layoffs first out against winners.
